RYA LEVELS 1&2
Powerboat training by Fairlop Sailing Centre normally combines the RYA levels 1&2 coastal powerboat certificate into a two-day course at Burnham Yacht Harbour, Burnham on Crouch CM0 8BL.
Courses are run using five metre RIBs, fully equipped with modern navigational aids and VHF radios. Personal buoyancy and wet weather clothing can be supplied. These are planing craft, both slow and high speed manoeuvres are covered. After successful completion, the International Certificate of Competence can be applied for from the RYA.
You will have to make your own way to and from Burnham. We meet on Saturday and Sunday at 09.00 and leave approx.15.30. The cost is £300 per person which includes course notes, logbook and certificate.
We also run the same course at the lake resulting in an inland certificate for £175
